What this project means & Why it matters
This project matters because it will help us understand the process and impact of our nation’s collective efforts to implement our national mental health strategy for high performance sport, after five years of strategic and intentional work; I am grateful to be part of this project because we have assembled a strong and diverse team of researchers and partner organizations who care about the wellness of our sport community. I am confident that we will learn tons from the athletes, coaches, staff, parents, referees, and leaders who will share their experiences with us throughout this project. We look forward to understanding what is going well, and also what we should improve moving forward.
