What this project means & Why it matters
I believe that mental well-being and performance go hand in hand. I am passionate about building an environment that is equal parts safe, challenging, supportive and enjoyable for athletes, coaches and their support staff. I am thrilled to contribute to the CHAMPS project, which evaluates the effectiveness of Canada’s National Mental Health Strategy for High Performance Sport. It is a privilege to collaborate with such a distinguished team of researchers and sport partners. As an apprentice in Mental Performance Consulting, gaining a clear understanding of how national initiatives are supporting athletes, coaches, and support staff is essential, and I am committed to helping advance this important work.
